DESCRIPTION
Chesscape is a game which combines both endless platform runner and chess together in which users have to evade or capture enemy chess pieces as they progress through the game on an endless platform and gain different abilities along the way. The idea was inspired by Harry Potter’s wizard’s chess and traditional endless platform games like subway surfers.

Soul UI programmer and designer for all the menus.

Worked on all code including camera behaviors, character behaviors like valid movements and including power ups and enemy logic.

Designed all the levels and integrated real-time and baked lighting for performance.

Integrated Google Play services with cloud save and in app purchases.

Optimized for mobile platforms by baking meshes, atlasing textures and materials and reducing the poly count using Simplygon.

Used Bump map and Photoshop to edit and create various Texture maps.

Carefully selected music and sounds along with editing VFX to enhance visual and sound aesthetics.

Currently working on IOS Build and minor bug updates.
