DESCRIPTION
This application was made as a freelance project for a student’s Final Year Project for the Real-estate market in which a user can customize the rooms interior including the walls, adding furniture and manipulating its placements on all axis, moving around the player freely, importing other custom 3d assets for furniture and props at run time and being able to save the rooms edited along with modifying previous saved rooms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Integrated Kinect and worked on different hand gestures to control object placement and player movement.

Coded new user input module for mouse clicks and other UI and 3D object interactions.

Coded all the customization features like changing wall colors, rotating and scaling furniture objects and being able to move around the room freely all using different air gestures.

Worked on importing and loading custom models of furniture and other props at runtime.

Integrated inventory system of custom and predefined furniture and prop assets that can be placed.

Designed and programmed all the menus.

Integrated saving edited rooms and allowing to modify previous saved rooms.

Optimized and tested to give smooth performance.
